The STUDIO is now open! Recently, there has been a demand for Carlos’ performances on many songs and because of this he has started doing “session” work online. All of Carlos’ recordings on this web site, as well as many other professional projects, have been done with Carlos performing drums, bass, guitars, keyboards, vocals and/or engineering or producing in his home studio.
If you would like to have Carlos perform, mix or produce your recordings here’s how:
1. First, the client sends mp3 demo(s) of the music.
2. Carlos will review your project and will contact you.
3. After a demo of the proposed song(s) is sent and all is agreed upon, the client sends audio files on cd or DVD, uploaded via ftp, iDisk - or better, AIM, iChat or Skype. All files start at bar 1 with tempo noted and are then loaded into Carlos’ Logic Pro or Pro Tools rig.
4. Carlos then records the part(s) (guitars, drums, keys, etc.) and then sends them back to you however you desire; raw and unmixed, stereo stems, single files, etc.
Virtual Studio fees
Costs can be as little as $250 per song going on up to $1000, but most are about $500 per song - in the range of double-scale, although you don't have to pay for engineering, travel, studio time or cartage. These fees include the performance fee, studio time, engineering fee and admin costs.
